  • Look up payment information using the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System(DEAMS) for DFAS Limestone/DEAMS pay office and request payment histories.
  • Requests additional research assistance from Vendor Pay team thru CMS back to contractors and vendors.
  • Receive, research and provide immediate answers to emails from contractors and vendors through DFAS home page (AskDFAS).
  • Extract payment vouchers and miscellaneous payment information for Army and Air Force contractors and vendors in Electronic Document Management Gateway (EDM).
  • Verify billing information from vendors in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
  • Process reject request for IAPS and DEAMS contracts ensuring no incorrect payments are made by DFAS. This saves money on additional interest payments.
  • Respond to AskDFAS requests within two business days.
  • Utilize Computerized Accounts Payable System (CAPS) pay system to research Army payment issues from Rock Island and St. Louis pay office. Also, use CAPS to extract payment histories and email them to contractors and vendors.
  • Utilize Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) pay system to research Air Force issues from DFAS Limestone, Columbus and Europe pay offices. Also, use DISA to extract payment histories and email thm to contractors and vendors.
  • Continue to maintain operational standards and metrics; documenting all calls, AskDFAS tickets and emails in CMS, available for more than 80% of scheduled work day, keeping RONA calls under 1%.
  • Work with department leadership on new and existing issues delaying resolution of internal and external customers.
  • Assist with training for new Customer Care Representatives.
