Professional customer service career started in 1988 during employment with Federal Express. During the 11 years of employment work as a customer service representative, administrative assistant, office clerk and courier. The duties included responding to customer inquiries, package handling, processing shipments, package tracing, establishing new accounts, work load distribution and route deliveries. The skills obtained allowed for establishing the concept of going above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. At times I encountered some difficult customer’s situations and was able to rectify with resolutions to satisfy the customer.
Over the past 12 years I have worked for The State of California. 5 years filing unemployment claims, 5 years in Adjudications making eligibility decisions while applying law and policy. My current position is a Program Manager. I manage and supervise a staff of 14 in claim filing and eligibility determinations. Other duties which are not limited to training, mentoring, developing, coaching counseling and documentation of corrective actions.
