I was transferred from Nash County Home Health to the Health Department after Home Health closing
I did several duties during that time at the Health Department to include CAP DA and CAP C home nursing visits
Along with the duties I performed with CAP, I also started up the Postnatal Newborn Home Assessment Program which included a one time home visit by a nurse for teaching, assessments, follow-up appointments, and reporting problems to the doctor if needed
Along with the above duties I was on the Covid Response Team which included Covid testing and vaccine administration when home visits were not allowed.

10.1995 - 12.2019

I started to work with Nash County Home Health in October 2, 1995 until December 2019 when Home Health was sold
During that time that I performed Home Health visits for clients being discharged from the hospital, wound care, medication teaching, IV administration and many more tasks involved in home care
Along with routine nursing visits for assessments, wound care, IV administration, injections, teaching
I also performed CAP / DA and CAP C yearly Nursing assessments and reported to CAP Social Workers
I have always enjoyed working with clients in their home to make sure they are cared for and have a safe environment
I believe I would be a great asset to continue my career with working with clients in their home with the vast knowledge I have with the Case Management

In March of 2023 I decided working for the health department was no longer what I desired and would love the opportunity to expand my career, but with some of the same duties.
