  • Responsible for the project management associated in implementing the California Future Health Workforce Commission Master Plan made up of 50 multi-sector represeantives of California's health workforce.
  • This position worked closely with the project co-directors to plan and implement public meetings for multiple bodies, including, but not limited to a California State Blue- Ribbon commission, a technical advisory committee, and regional meetings to secure input from diverse stakeholders
  • This role required effective management of relationships with senior representatives of private and public sector organizations to facilitate optimal engagement and accountability for results, and sufficient knowledge and experience in the health workforce arena to proactively manage sensitive issues
  • Supervised ten consultants with expertise related to elements of developing the Master Plan; including policy; specialists in Primary Care, Behavioral Health, and Aging; Higher Education; and Data and technology
  • Planned and implemented sub-committee, technical advisory committees, and Commission meetings
  • Tracked development of proposals for each strategy recommended by each of sub- committees and funding reports when awarded
  • Oversaw communications aspects of the project, including a bi-weekly newsletter, social media posts, website posts and updates
  • Worked closely with Commission Co-Chairs to develop meeting agendas and overall framework of Commission outcomes and goals
  • Developed strong relationships with Commission and sub-committee members
  • Researched potential funding and partners for strategies proposed as part of the final Master Plan.
