Lisa Voyles

I taught in Kindergarten, third grade, and music over a 34 year period. I student taught at Sterling and got my job right out of student teaching. I was at Woodrow Wilson for 33 years.

I also did 3 rd 4th grade Drama club my entire career. We produced a spring play .

I did chick and duck projects for many years in my classroom. The entire school would come and visit, and the kids would present our project.

I also did the I CAN Program for 3rd and 4 th graders which was based on Zig Ziglars works: Positive thinking and believing in ourselves through Music.

I was a strong disciplinarian and mentored and had many student teachers throughout my career.

I worked on my Masters in Counseling and continued my education and ended my career with Masters plus 67 additional hours.

I wrote a grant to add literature into my Music classroom.

I worked hard, and enjoyed my career.
