Population served is diverse and includes refugees, special needs children and adults, non-english speaking, mentally impaired and medically compromised individuals. Much of the population has extensive periodontal disease and dental decay. Much of the population lacks dental knowledge and needs thorough patient education.

Duties: Utilizing electronic health records, prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, full mouth debridement, digital x-rays, sealants, SDF treatment, fluoride treatment, patient education, oral cancer exam, treatment planning.

Conducted thorough investigations into child abuse and neglect allegations and provided case management to families who were receiving supportive services from the State of Michigan.

Performed comprehensive dental hygiene services to a diverse population in a general dental office.

Duties: prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, full mouth debridement, digital x-rays, fluoride treatment, oral cancer exam, maintained patient recall, maintained product inventory.
