Reported to Senior Vice President of Continental Cablevision. I worked in the regional office. My duties included working with top executives in management to include controllers, marketing, advertising and sales. I was responsible for meeting with printing companies to decide on company logo and decide how much quality we would need for the company. I was responsible for planning our three main company parties each year which were a Christmas party for the employee and a guest this was a formal affair, a Spring fling this was an employee only event and a Summer event that was a BBQ this was a family event for the employee and their families. Each event included a variety of duties from employee memos to venues and ABC licences, menus, hotel rooms, gifts to be purchased for drawings, cab rides, entertainment, etc.
I also worked with The Richmond Metro Chamber of Commerce and Various Senators from time to time as part of my duties and even won a pair of round trip tickets to anywhere in the US as part of a contest for selling the most tickets to the Metro Richmond Chamber of Commerce. I volunteered for several years with The Richmond Ronald McDonald House by keeping their minutes for each and every board meeting. I worked with MTV/VH1 and helped bring several concerts to town as part of my duties also. I handled customer service complaints at the top level and found resolution to them. I kept ledgers and wrote checks for my bosses personal families trust accounts and sent out emails and made phones calls on his behalf.
I organised and kept a detailed filing system.
