Work directly with middle and high school students who are deaf and hard of hearing to carry out plans and activities, modifies instruction to meet the individual learning needs of students, to include adapting language, assisting with reading for comprehension, providing students with choices to ensure engagement and comprehension. Supervise and correct student behavior per students' individual behavioral plans. Administer tests and quizzes. Participate in various meetings to advocate and report on studen development and assist academic leadership by providing input for student learning and overall wellness needs.
Member, National Association of the Deaf, 2017 to Current, Registry of Interpreters for the deaf, 2017 to Current, and Maryland Association of the Deaf, 2023 to Current.
Camping, hiking, traveling around the world, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, running, kayaking, fishing, and interacting with the deaf community.
