Educational Philosophy

I believe all children are capable of learning and developing the skills they need to achieve their dreams. As an educator, and specifically as a counselor, I believe it is my job to help the student, and his/her family, remove obstacles to learning. With the family and the school working together, obstacles such as socioeconomic status, physical needs and disabilities, emotional issues, and learning problems may not be completely removed but can become mere challenges rather than barriers to education.
