• Collaborated with AVID Site team to achieve recertification for AVID Demonstration School, one of only 17 middle schools to achieve this designation in the state of Florida.
• Worked with leadership and administration to coordinate construction of a new building and addition, as well as the relocation of the entirety of the school to the new site.
• Improved student state testing scores to attain district and state standards in a school designated as a Turnaround School under the oversight of the Bureau of School Improvement.
• Led and coordinated model classroom structure in response to professional learning needs outlined through data collection of classroom walkthroughs.
• Completed all documentation required for Bureau of School Improvement portfolio-creating templates for subsequent turnaround schools.
• Collaborated on school budgets: District Resource Allocation, Title I and UNISIG.
• Collaborated with United Way as a Community Partnership school to increase parent and family engagement.
• Served as mentor for new assistant principals and as a lead in aspiring leaders program.
