• At Hawaii Grill & Poke, I made poke bowls and boba teas.
• Operated cash register for cash, check, and credit card transactions with excellent accuracy levels
• Greeted customers entering store and responded promptly to customer needs
• Built relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
• I would usually be working with one other person and we would run all the operations in the front of the restaurant.
• This job allowed me to develop my customer service skills.

In the summer of 2020, I got my first job as a lifeguard at Splash Kingdom. While working there, I:

• Guarded several different attractions and pools
• Learned and maintained proficiency in first responder skills such as First Aid and CPR to offer individuals in distress optimal support
• Enforced rules and ensured all guests were safe and happy
• Other aspects of the job included occasionally cleaning the park and organizing equipment, and daily in-service trainings/practices each morning.

This was easily the most rewarding job I've had thus far because my experiences lifeguarding allowed me to develop new skills:

• Being in a leadership position allowed me to build confidence, especially when I had to perform saves.
• I had to be assertive at times, while also being professional and accommodating
• Guarding fostered my teamwork skills and I enjoyed the sense of camaraderie amongst the crew
• Although the job could be physically exhausting with long shifts in the Texas heat, my experience as a lifeguard helped me develop a great work ethic

I returned to Splash Kingdom and worked one more season in 2022.

• Working as a line cook, I had to make pizzas, restock supplies, and thoroughly clean the kitchen on closing shifts.
• I did prep and was also a dishwasher when needed.
• While working at PCBC, I was sort of a jack of all trades and helped out everyone around the kitchen during my shifts.
• I had to stay on my toes and work as efficiently as possible, while multi-tasking.
