  • Chairwoman of the Committee On Children, a legislative committee with cognizance over the Department of Children and Families, as well as shared cognizance over Education, Early Childhood, and Public Health as it relates to minors.
  • Co-Leader of an internal legislative Caucus, overseeing marketing and messaging for 20+ Democratic legislators, and acting as lead negotiator for the caucus on Housing, Labor, and Judiciary bills for the purpose of crafting legislation to receive full Democratic caucus support.
  • Produce a high volume of legislation per year, requiring significant bipartisan and bicameral collaboration, appreciable lobbying and negotiation skills, notable knowledge on a variety of issues, and flexibility.
