Associate Athletics Director, Admin. & Well-Being

• Oversee the student-athlete experience, including well-being and risk mitigation efforts. Design positive development seminars and best practice trainings for employees to nurture a supportive environment aligned to the program’s purpose.

• Coach and develop 7 direct reports to effectively manage their programs and respond to the changing NCAA landscape.

• Designed a DEI framework with a six-person cross-functional University team to foster a greater sense of BIPOC student-athlete inclusion and belonging.

• Continually evaluate the student-athlete experience by engaging students through surveys and focus groups on how to elevate their experience.

• Developed, implemented, and iterate the incoming student-athlete and student-employee onboarding processes, which includes serving as the emcee for orientation kickoffs.

• Managed the restructure of student-athlete development programming and leadership groups, which resulted in a 90% increase in student engagement.

• Collaborate with community business leaders to provide a summer leadership program for Utah student-athletes. The leadership program model has been adopted by other universities across the country.
