I have worked in the Financial Assistance Department my entire career. We help the uninsured patients apply for different social service programs , Medicaid, Disability, SSA benefits, ACA Marketplace and hospital based assistance..

I have participated in implementing new projects as the hospital system grew.

I spent time meeting with the inpatients on the floor, and working with ER patients.

I have been a disability Medicaid follow up caseworker where I would continue helping the patient after discharge to secure benefits. I supervised our ACA Healthcare Navigators and our Medicaid follow up teams. I have also been coordinator for hospital teams on site.

The last year I have been remote coordinating our new Remote ER Specialist team whose task is to contact all uninsured ER patients and try to assist with obtaining benefits or other assistance.
