In my role as a Procurement Specialist I, I have the opportunity to interface with vendors and customers to assist in repair actions. I am responsible for completing assigned data inputs into the program database and negotiating agreements and purchasing terms for efficient procurement of materials. ILS, Logiquest, and EDI/XML portals were used to conduct market research and procure pricing. Additionally, I process and create customer requests, sales orders, and purchase orders in accordance with contractual requirements and company-wide procurement policies. I am proficient in using Quantum Control Database software to execute my job functions, record up-to-date customer data and activities, and generate reports. I also provide logistical support for shipment coordination and preparation of required documentation. In addition to these responsibilities, I prepare repair documents, amendments, and modifications in compliance with Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS), company policies, best commercial practices, and other US Government regulations and policies. I am also involved in releasing and issuing awards, ensuring proper customer flow downs. I use databases like SCIP/WebRoR to make updates and communicate with the United States Army. I assist with interactive project databases and applications related to the Component Control Quantum Database. As part of my responsibilities, I track expedited orders, provide updates to the Program Manager, vendors, and customers, manage and organize meetings. Furthermore, I provide support and data for repair and return program administrative purposes. Currently, I am holding a security clearance with the Department of Defense (DOD).
