Emergency Medical Care:

• Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment and transport needs.
• Administer basic life support (BLS) services, including CPR, wound care, splinting, and oxygen therapy.
• Use defibrillators, bandages, and other medical equipment as needed.

Critical Care Transport:

• Work in tandem with paramedics or critical care nurses to manage life-threatening conditions during long-distance or inter-facility transfers.
• Monitor patient’s medical status throughout the transport process, ensuring they receive continuous care and assessment.

Dispatching Emergency Medical Services:

• Coordinate the dispatch of ambulances, paramedics, EMTs, or other medical teams to the scene of an emergency.
• Ensure that the correct resources are dispatched based on the information provided by the caller.

Maintaining Communication:

• Continuously communicate with field personnel to relay updates or any changes in the emergency situation.
• Ensure a seamless flow of information between dispatch, EMS teams, and hospitals.
