  • As an Intelligence Research Specialist (IRS) assigned to the Intelligence Support Unit (ISU), provide support to law enforcement investigations by conducting post-drug seizure analysis reported to El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC). The following databases are used to glean information: CLEAR, ACQUIRENT, TRAC, FinCEN, CBP TECS, DEASIL, ISO, NADDIS and EPIC ESS. A comprehensive report with investigative leads is generated and disseminated to the EPIC customer.
  • As an intelligence research specialist, I have been assigned to support the National License Plate Reader program. The Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) National License Plate Reader Program (NLPR) is a law enforcement tool, developed and used by DEA to enforce Title 21 authorities by facilitating the investigation of drug trafficking, bulk cash smuggling, and other illegal activities associated with the drug trade. Provide intelligence support and market the LPR program, my communication and networking skills are an asset to the LPR program. The LPR program continues to reach out to already in place Law enforcement Agencies (LEA), LPR programs or in-progress programs compatible with DEASIL in order to have a better LPR coverage for their investigations.
  • As part of the LPR team I attend conferences and meetings to assist with registering attendees, providing access to the DEASIL application and share available resources. Have received training to provide Intelligence analytical support for client request, these types of requests have to be approved by the EPIC director and have to meet the required criteria.
  • As an Intelligence Research Specialist (IRS), I have generated multiple maps with tailored specifications upon the request of LPR Unit Chief. I have created maps on the GeoPortal to make and analytical analysis and identify trends and patterns using the data downloaded from the National Seizure System (NSS), LPR sites and Armtax stations. I provide assistance downloading the LPR data on a weekly basis to keep current in the GeoPortal.
  • I have received training in the GeoPortal to support EPIC with broader Intelligence Division geospatial request. I'm able to clean and format data in order to upload into the Geoportal and generate maps in the map viewer as layers. I have the ability to create, perform and demonstrate functional actions on the layer. I have completed an LPR Dashboard with data downloaded from the DEASIL application in order to make adequate Intelligence analysis and identify any significant trends and patterns. I'm able to produce written strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence product from various means such as automated systems and research.

  • Liaison on behalf of New Mexico HIDTA to Federal, State, Local and Indian Tribal Law Enforcement Agencies in our AOR. I provided phone data analysis obtained from tolls and pen registers in order to import into PLX. Identified calling trends and patterns in order to support the investigation. Requested subpoenas through the DEA DARTS database tolls, subscribers and deconflictions. Acquired Cellebrite training and certification to provide phone forensics support. Generated reports from raw data collected derived from phone extraction using CELLEBRITE and UFED reader equipment.
