Christian Art Camp For Girls

I have been a camp counselor for a christian art camp for two years in a row. I attended training sessions to understand the responsibilities I needed to accomplish during the weeks I worked. I was assigned a group of girls (age 11-12) and was one of their guardians for 5 hours per day for 5 days. I helped to construct interactive bible studies as well as collaborative activities for the girls. The other counselors and I set the art projects up every morning before the campers arrived, and discussed the daily itinerary and goals. I assisted preparing and organizing the art gallery at the end of the week, as well as staying late to clean everything up and talk with the camper's parents.
