In 2019 I graduated in the top 22% of my class from Mascoutah High School. I also began my Army National Guard career at the same time. Once I was done with high school I worked on my lawn care business all summer long in the blistering heat and made sure everything was done to the customers standards and made sure they were left happy as can be. At the end of summer instead of starting my college career I went off to basic training where I was a team leader for my squad and received an offer for my high physical fitness test score and ability to lead my peers, to attend RTLI (Ranger Training and Leadership Initiative). I was the only one in my company of 240 soldiers to attend and accept the challenge. I passed this class and went on to attend Western Illinois University where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration with a dual minor in Criminalistics and Military Science. While at Western I worked for the Icehouse as a Security manager/bar-back. I also furthered my Military career by commissioning through the ROTC program at Western where I obtained the rank of Second Lieutenant.
