Summary

I have been working in the food industry for 3 years now and have been able to learn new skills and to problem solve when needed. I first started as a carhop server at Sonic Drive In and held many responsibilities such as:

- taking orders

- making drinks

- working a drive thru

- bagging food

- maintaining a well-stocked and clean environment

- working with coworkers to make sure customers are satisfied

- getting food out on time

- learning closing procedures

After the time at Sonic, I then moved to be a cook at Pizza Hut. I had many of the same responsibilities as well as:

- training new employees

- maintaining food safety regulations

- making sure pizzas were made correctly and that all food was within food safety temperatures

After about a year of being a cook, I then started training as a shift lead where I learned closing procedures, voiding out tickers if necessary, making sure customers were happy with their orders, maintaining a clean restaurant and being able to run a shift smoothly.
