I am 19, I graduated high school in 2025. While in high school I did 2 years of welding and 3 years of basic carpentry. After high school I worked at a gas plant for just a little over 2 months just as a summer job. While I was there I mainly dealt with hand tools. Taking things apart and putting them back together correctly. I learned about safety and to keep a safe work environment. After the gas plant, I went into security at the state hospital. I’ve been there for a little over 8 months now. I’ve learned social skills and how to work with others as a team. The job is good but it’s not what I want to do right now. I believe I am good at working with other people and problem solving. I am good with my hands and would prefer working with my hands.
