Logan Nye

I am currently a senior at Grand Junction High School. I am a hard worker, reliable, trusting, friendly, and a great leader. I am a self starter who is always determined to accomplish difficult tasks and I work well in large groups. I always want to improve myself in different ways.

AP Capstone Diploma- Junior and Sophomore year 2023-2025

• By passing the AP Seminar and AP Research curriculums, along with 4 additional AP classes, I was awarded the AP Capstone Diploma. This is an award I have been working toward since I started high school and I am proud I received this award before my senior year.

AP Scholar Award- Junior year 2024-2025

• Awarded for taking three or more Advanced Placement classes in one year and passing all of these exams.

Academic Letter- 2023-Present

• Awarded for having a GPA of 4.0 or higher. Currently, my GPA is a 4.2 and I hope to maintain this score to letter academically all 4 years in high school.

Student of the Year — May 2022

• I was selected for the Student of the Year at Redlands Middle School. The year I was awarded this was a challenging year for me. I had torn my ACL in a school basketball game and had to recover in physical therapy for the entire school year. Along with this, I continued to excel academically, and I was on the leadership team called "Flight Crew". My teachers and principal picked me because of my grit, leadership, kindness, and respect.
