Creekside Gardens
  • I was a greenhouse hand, where I assisted with the daily care of flowers and all other types of plants, and I tended to them every day.
  • Supervised greenhouse activities, ensuring proper sorting of petunias by variety.
  • Learned foundational practices for efficient plant care.

First Year Leadership Training

  • A program hosted at SEMO in the fall semester, where they teach students leadership skills and real-world applications of those skills. The program lasted 8 weeks.

Emerging Leaders

  • A leadership program at SEMO that only accepts leaders from the community who are involved in SEMO's campus life, where we learn different leadership tactics to apply in our future at SEMO and in the workforce.

FBLA

  • Future Business Leaders of America is an organization where we are learning skills to prepare for the future, like how stocks work and how leadership and management work within the workplace.
  • I plan and assist with the funds we obtain from fundraising or requests from the student government.
  • We go to competitions throughout the year where we face all other FBLA chapters, where we test our knowledge, research, and our speech skills.

Collegiate Farm Bureau

  • Collaborated on strategies to address pressing issues in contemporary agriculture through competitions and discussions.

FFA Member and Greenhouse Hand

  • Future Farmers of America is a club where you become familiar with all aspects of agriculture to learn about what the agriculture business is all about. I attended FFA in my high school years, where I got familiar with agronomy and plant science.

Key Club

  • In Key Club, I was able to volunteer throughout the community, where I helped host events for individuals with disabilities and pick up litter among the many highways that surrounded the school.
