When I was a nurse tech I was on a med-surg cardiac focused floor. I would assist the pt's with their ADL's such as feed them breakfast, walk with them, help them to the bathroom, bring them snacks and anything else they needed help with. Also, 3 times a day we would take vitals, blood sugars, and anything else the nurse needed. It was a valuable job because it taught me a lot of skills that aren't taught in nursing school.

My job as a nurse extern was a valuable and memorable experience. During the summer 2 different nurses in 2 different locations in the hospital, which was very nice because it exposed me to different areas of nursing. I would assist the nurse with anything she needed, but most of the time I would follow her and see what being a nurse was all about.

During my time at Reasors I would assist customers with returns, money orders, lottery tickets, Western Union orders, or any complaints/complements they had. Also, I would close down the office at night and get the front end chores done through the help of cashiers. I would also help cashiers when they had a problem on their register or assist customers when they needed help.
