Mostly under the table work when I was a teenager for my family and freinds but I take pride in my lines. I still do this here and there sometimes for people who need it or if I just would like a side job here and there. Did many hours and work in yards and flower beds behind small engine machines and tools. I got a detailed eye for small things you may not be able to see at first glance doing a lot of this work.
My buddy and I own our own side buisness detailing. He actually owns the detailing shop for ford on king street. We’ve done quite a bit of work together for 3 years now. Everything from Boats, cars, Rvs, trucks and motorcycles. We’ve spent countless hours on projects staying up to 16 hours just to finish a job on time and meet the requirements to when we told our customer we’d have it done. I’ve hired and trained a few people during that time so I understand patience and not being afraid to help someone if they need it. I personally own and feel very confident in using small machines like rotary’s, orbital polishers, air compressors, drills and steam cleaners things of the sort. My buddy and I have done probably close to over 100 jobs now doing that and feel like it has helped understand team work, business, customer satisfaction, persistence and patience a lot more.
Mostly under the table and side work but I spend a lot of time on my god fathers farm and property out in Blaine just helping him with anything he needs. I’ve done this for 4 summers now I show up about 2-3 times a week and just work and do whatever he needs done. Things such as, Splitting wood, help building greenhouses, re modeling his shop and barn, painting, detailing, cleaning gutters, mowing and weeding helping fix cars and big engine vehicles. Operating a tractor through tight spaces. just about anything to maintain a property and get what needs done.
I do not have my license. but I do I have my permit. I am working towards getting my license right now. Just getting comfortable behind the wheel and taking the small steps to make sure I ace the drivers test.
I just never put the time into getting my license nor did I take the chance for drivers Ed when I was younger. I understand I set it aside for an inexcusable amount of time but I am working my butt off for that right now.
