I am a hard-working, motivated, and dedicated Journalist with high aspirations. I am devoted to any job that I take on and eager for any opportunity that presents itself. I have a good amount of experience in the field of Journalism, from being a color commentator as an undergraduate student at Finger Lakes Community College, to being a sports writer at that same institution. I am a strong writer and have been commended on my writing by several teachers and professors. Furthermore, I possess skills in the areas of responsibility, respect, and hard work.
At Big Lots, I assisted with the front-end operations by providing high-level customer service, gave insight on how to make the store better, assisted with organization, etc. My main duty was being the first cashier, but I also stocked and organized when needed.
As a student at FLCC, I was assigned the job of being a color commentator for two basketball games. In those two games, I provided thoughtful insight, gave in-game updates as they happened, and overall enhanced the viewer experience by providing insightful commentary and analysis.
As a student at Finger Lakes Community College, I had the opportunity to write recaps of the various sporting events that occurred at the college. I provided stats and insight and often added a personal touch to draw readers in. These recaps were published on the FLCC Athletics website, and I am grateful that I was given this opportunity to further my experience in the field of Journalism.
