Knowledgeable and proficient in a multitude of satellite communications operating systems to include EHF, AEHF, Linkway/iDirect, X/Ka/C/Ku Band and MET. Includes building mission links from SAA documentation and troubleshooting physical and digital connection issues in order to provide consistent uptime communication links to high priority end users.
Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual maintenance on all previously mentioned satellite communications operating systems. Ensure physical integrity of all mission critical and mission non-critical antennas.
Build and implement digital communications plans efficiently and effectively within the according systems to establish communication links between us and high priority distant end users. Coordinate low priority mission de-access in order to support higher priority missions resource requests.
Support the access and de-access of mission with Communications Controllers and multiple Satellite Communications Agencies to include DISA, ESGS, RSSC, NCTAMS, SOCOM SATOPS, etc. Record and update Battalion level SIPR entries to provide seamless level of information flow.
Technically competent with Secret Level Classification Equipment such as SKL's, KIV-7M, KG-175D, KG-250 and KG-255X. Performed hot swappable maintenance on multiple pieces of the aforementioned equipment while keeping consistent uptime for mission communications.
