gardening, reading, renovation

I have always been an avid reader since 4th grade. I have tried to set an example for  others, especially my children. They are all good readers. I enjoy seeing things grow and flourish and enjoy the beauty of flowers. They are like children to me. I like to see old thing refurbished to be used and not thrown away.  It bothers me that we are such a throw-away society.
