This Shanghai-based project aimed to revive a dormant foreign trade subsidiary. Recognized for my trade expertise, I was brought in for team recruitment, product analysis, and market strategy. The well-positioned company had room for improvement in various operational aspects. My initial focus was on candidate screening, product organization, and digital marketing, achieving notable progress in each. As we near a collaboration agreement, I'm also considering other career paths.
In response to the pandemic's impact on Shanghai's business exhibitions, I launched a video project to connect exhibitors with international buyers. I filmed booths and interviews at over 10 major venues, creating 20 long-form videos. These were AI-edited and uploaded to YouTube's E-walk channel. The initiative offered free promotion for exhibitors and remote supplier assessment for buyers, generating revenue through platform commissions. The project, well-received by companies, is currently paused due to my engagement in another trade project.

In 4 months, I made a new website using WordPress at https://whmcn.com. I made the website show up on Google and ran Google ads. I spent $90 on ads in 28 days, got four inquiries, 376 clicks, and over 60,000 views. I also got two orders for samples.
