Summary

To be more involved in the community and our schools, I started working part-time for the district in 2016 at Walt Disney and then began substitute teaching pre-school- 8th grade including SPED classes. I was asked to apply for a vacant Science teaching position at Walt Disney and took out an Emergency Single Subject Credential in Science to teach for the 2024-2025 school year. I finished the first year of San Ramon Valley Teacher Induction Program and am ready to start my second year. I have found a great joy in giving back to the community through working with the school district.

  • Have taken multiple long term substitute positions including 4th/5th combo teacher, worked as a Home Hospital teacher, 6th grade Resource teacher, Resident Sub position, 1:1 SPED Para, 3rd grade teacher, and I taught an experimental district cohort of in person high risk 4th graders for 7 months during Covid.
