Loren Kalkowski

As a lead heavy equipment operator I am responsible for being able to make critical decisions without having a supervisor present and work with co workers on making sure the task at hand is getting completed in a safe and productive manner. While also being responsible for many other very important aspects of the job as listed below.

- responsible for operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, motor graders, wheeled excavators, off and on highway dump trucks, back hoes, and loaders. for road construction and maintenance in a safe and productive manner.

- specializing in new and existing road construction jobs that entail large cuts, end haul projects, pipe installations, and difficult drainage issues.

-responsible for training new operators on how to be safe and efficient on new pieces of equipment and new projects.

-responsible for daily inspections and maintenance of equipment such as greasing, fueling, and pre and post shift inspections.

-responsible for repairing small break downs such as blown hoses, burnt out lights, and minor electrical issues.

-responsible for preforming PM services that include oil filter, oil, fuel filters, fuel water separators, and air filters every 250 hours of equipment operation on machines that i operate.

As an equipment operator I was responsible for doing tasks safe and productively given to me by a lead operator and responsible for many other aspects listed below.

-responsible for preforming PM services that include oil filter, oil, fuel filters, fuel water separators, and air filters every 250 hours of equipment operation on machines that i operate.

-assisting mechanics on major repairs of equipment and highway trucks.
