PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy centers on motivation as the key to success. Learning is not a solitary activity, but a combination of hands-on experiences and the sharing of ideas which instill confidence in children. I believe in holding both teacher and students accountable for the learning environment, thus creating a community-based relationship. Students are able to make better choices, share thoughts, and have positive peer interaction when the learning environment is based on respect. I believe administrators must have a vision that creates and sustains a culture that promotes academic growth of its students and professional growth of its faculty.
