- Since 2018, I have been a QC Technician in Department 834, EHV Cutting. I perform visual inspections on inverter cases. I was fortunate to travel to Japan to train for the startup of EHV. As the most experienced QC tech in our department, I have been responsible for the training of other QC techs.
- I also perform many quality checks in the lab using the CMM, thread gauges, roughness tester, contour measuring, calipers, contamination tester, tape peel, height gauge, and more. I interpret drawings on these cases to ensure that the measurements are within specifications.
- I have maintained an impeccable quality standard and take pride in being an important part of the department and the company's success in the EHV startup at DMTN.
- Prior to transferring to EHV, I spent the majority of my 29 years in the Pulley department. First, in the machining area, and then powder coat. As a powder coat operator, I was the final QA net before alternator assembly. I also spent time on the Rotor Line and began my time at Denso on the Brush Holder. I have lots of experience in various quality checks over these years.
