I'm currently employed at FCA, I work with 3 Oncology doctor's and 4 Nurse practitioners. On a daily bases I assist MA's with vital signs, drawing labs, I access patient's port's for their chemo or hydration. Assist patient's to exam room's, input and update medical information, including medication, and vital signs into patient's chart electronically.
In the pharmacy, I pulled and administered medication's for approximately 550 inmates. Reordered medication's as needed, orders in the computer for the Doctor, Nurse practitioner, Dentist and Psychiatrist. Transcribed orders onto MAR's. Checked in single dose and keep on person medications. responsible for verifying all MAR's each month, making sure medications where correct. auditing MAR's for missed doses, refused doses or expiring orders, flag all that had missing initals or signatures and expiring orders. After 3 refusals from inmates, a signed refusal had to be signed and put in chart. For all refusals or expiring medications, I had to pull the inmates charts and in the refusal then give to appropriate provider for review, also for any upcoming expiring medications for new orders.

Worked as a CNA with a staffing agency going to multiple facilities to work, while attending nursing school. My duties where daily feedings, taking vital signs, bathing and changing residents, assisting them with dressing and going to restroom. Answering call lights and assisting nurses as needed.

Managed the optical lab and supervised two employees. Responsible for a lens casting system; making lenses with their proper prescription and dispensing them to be edged.
