I began working for Burke in September of 1999 and have held multiple positions during that time which are listed below:

Community Rehabilitation Assistant - Met with clients in the field to teach coping skills, life skills, money management skills, to provide transportation to appointments at the clinic and to providers in the community.

Mental Health Service Coordinator: Developed treatment plans, initiated and updated assessments, linked to resources both within the organization and in the community.

TCOOMMI (Texas Correctional Office on Offenders with Medical or Mental Impairments) Clinician: I carried a caseload of clients who were both on probation and diagnosed with a mental illness. The objective was to help them manage both successfully by providing skills training, linking to services both inside the Burke organization and in the community.

TCOOMMI Clinical Coordinator: Oversight of provision of program guidelines and requirements, updating and maintaining annual budgets, supervision of staff and staff management.

Clinical Coordinator of Burke's Angelina Mental Health Clinic: Oversight and provision of program requirements and supervision of staff and staff management.

Clinical Coordinator of Burke's Mental Health Emergency Center: Complete client intakes, develop initial treatment plans, provide therapy, and oversee the management of clinical staff.
