I served as new Head of School and Public Assistant Superintendent of Schools simultaneously for six months to assist with emergency transition for independent school.
I served as a teacher for eight years in the B.I.S.D. District in two schools. The school was one of the lowest performing in the district with a population of over 85% low socio-economic/free lunch learners and majority students of from marginalized communities. While teaching the last three years, we piloted a new program - Year Round Education. During those three years, I also served in an administrative role as Director of Year Round Education Intersessions.
