I am a dedicated Security Guard skilled in maintaining workplace safety, effective communication, and emergency response. Proven ability to implement access control measures and foster positive client relationships.
I am also a Communications Officer first and foremost. Even though I haven't been working as a Communications officer for 4 years, I feel that this is what I was always meant to do. I've received many commendations over the years and I took pride in my work. I would love the opportunity to come back to the job I love.
Engaged in comprehensive training for six months to develop expertise in relevant areas.
Acquired proficiency in utilizing Rivercoms multi-line telephone system to ensure effective communication for business and emergency calls.

I received training in First Aid and CPR and was able to give instructions to callers over the phone.
I began my career as a Communications Officer in Tacoma on May 16, 1996. After I completed my probationary period I was promoted to a Communications Officer 1. On May 15, 2005, I was promoted to a Communications Officer 2. I remained in Tacoma until August 2011 when I transferred to District 6 Wenatchee. I continued as a Communications Officer 2 until 2018 when I decided to go as an intermittent and work full time at the Chelan County District Court Probation office. I worked there for about a year when I needed to quit and take some time to stay home with my son. He was having issues with daycare so it was necessary for me to be there with him for the summer. Once school started back up in September I returned as an intermittent employee but pretty much worked full-time hours. I remained an intermittent employee until the Wenatchee Comm Center was shut down.
Coordinated appointments for probation clients.
Managed case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal standards and confidentiality requirements.
Monitored unsupervised probation offenders for compliance. If any violations were found, I created a report and sent this over to the District Court so they were aware of the probation violation.
I accepted payments for supervised and unsupervised probation clients and restitution.
I answered all incoming phone calls into the Probation Office from either the public or offenders.
I handled mail, packages, emails, document transmissions and other types of data.
