Won many awards including the first ever Legacy Award by the Department of Elder Affairs in Florida, Florida SunSentinel Unsung Hero award, Soroptimist International "Woman of Distinction" Award.
• Also appeared on many television and radio networks promoting healthy aging through music and speaking with Rotary, AARP, The American Heart Association.
• Represented the orchestra on a friendship tour to Costa Rica where I conducted the Costa Rican Symphony orchestra
• Organized a trip with members of the orchestra to the Holocaust Documentation Center in Dania Beach, Florida and borrowed a viola from the World Famous Violins of Hope collection and played the Israeli National Anthem at our last concert 2/25/2024.

Played viola in this highly professional community orchestra and also was able to use many of the musicians to fill in for the Florida Intergenerational Orchestra in the event a special musician was necessary for a concert.
