Collaborative with relentless work ethic. Dedicated to providing a purpose for those musicians who want to join an orchestra and add a sense of dignity and vitality to their lives. My orchestra also promotes mutual understanding between the generations. "It's a wonderful sight to see people of all ages playing together simply for the love of music."

Created and conducts a 65 piece Symphony Orchestra as a 501(c)(3).

  • Achieved long-term sustainability for the organization through responsible decision-making processes grounded in blending the generations through music. Won many awards including the first ever Legacy Award by the Department of Elder Affairs in Florida, Florida SunSentinel Unsung Hero award, Soroptimist International "Woman of Distinction" Award.
  • Also appeared on many television and radio networks promoting healthy aging through music and speaking with Rotary, AARP, The American Heart Association.
  • Represented the orchestra on a friendship tour to Costa Rica where I conducted the Costa Rican Symphony orchestra
  • Organized a trip with members of the orchestra to the Holocaust Documentation Center in Dania Beach, Florida and borrowed a viola from the World Famous Violins of Hope collection and played the Israeli National Anthem at our last concert 2/25/2024.
