Perform HVAC/R repair and service for all commercial and residential dormitory A/C units. Troubleshoot and repair 1-30 ton package air-conditioning units, heat pumps and gas package units. Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment IE: ice machines, cold plates, walk in coolers and freezers. Troubleshoot and repair chillers, chilled water pumps, chilled water valves, controls and cooling towers. Repair chilled water hydronic valves, water fill valves and check valves. Troubleshoot and repair kitchen, cafeteria and snack bar cooking appliances and associated equipment.

Help train and develops the Sodexo employees in the following trade, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing.

• keeping Work with VP of Campus Development for Facilities Management budget and special projects. Manage 188 facilities employees. This includes 110 custodians 33 residence living maintenance workers and 45 tradesman/maintenance employees.
• Work with City of Phoenix building safety department, City of Phoenix elevator department, Arizona State, Maricopa County and City of Phoenix Fire Safety department officials for code compliance and resources. Record keeping for elevator, fuel storage, hazardous waste, bio-hazardous waste and emergency generator permits. Record keeping for SDS/Safety Data Sheets.
• Work with Environmental Health and Safety Director for safe working environment and practices. Work with tradesmen in complex difficult troubleshooting and recommend plan of action.
• Completed numerous professional development courses in leadership, communication and employee engagement.
• Oversee emergency generator and elevators preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Control all hazardous waste removal and maintain manifest documentation.
• Manage custodial teams for campus cleaning needs and supply ordering.
• Handle employee issues and provide correction plan for both manager and employee.

• Perform repair and maintenance on all air-conditioning and electrical systems.
• Maintain maintenance and project budgets.

• Representative for Grand Canyon University AFP (Annual Facilities Permit) with the City of Phoenix Planning and Building department.

• Device a full service Lock shop bringing all lock repairs, key master pinning and key cutting back in house. Perform all work for the first 15 years of opening.
• Help HVAC department performing air-conditioning repairs when emergency repairs are needed.

• Troubleshoot and repair package air conditioning systems. Troubleshoot and repair chillers, chilled water pumps. chilled water shut off valve, chilled water make-up water valve and pressure reducing valves. Repair cooling towers including water fill, fill valves, water basin repairs and blower assembly. Perform repairs on kitchen refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers/freezers and kitchen cooking appliances. Manage facilities employees in daily job tasks.
