A motivated freshman pursuing Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz seeking opportunities to broaden understanding of engineering principles and gain practical, hands-on experience. Despite still developing industry-specific knowledge, dedication and enthusiasm contribute to being a valuable team member. Academic work and involvement with the Mariner Ocean Research Institute have fostered essential soft skills, including effective communication, data analysis, and organization.

As an energetic college freshman, I joined the men's ultimate frisbee team on my cousin's recommendation, transitioning from seven years of tennis, which ended with an elbow injury. Along with two friends, I aim to run for team captain next year. Despite having more rookies than veterans, our team quickly developed strategic play, overcoming teams that had consistently outperformed Santa Cruz's B team, OOZE, for years. We also achieved a significant milestone by winning three out of four games at this year's regional.
