•Administering proper dosage of antibiotics and other medicine required for releasing a healthy animal back to the herd.
•Keeping a close inventory of all cattle in the hospital, all meds in the office, and making sure the paperwork was properly filed for each individual animal.

•Keeping exact records of all medicine used per the animal they were given. The records had to be exact due to multiple cattle owners and multiple lots of cattle for billing purposes.
A ranch is made up of "camps." Each camp is cared for by one man and each camp has its own cow herd, water sources, fences and everyday maintenance.
•Manage the daily operations of my camp.
•Managed a cow herd made up of 600 mother cows and seasonally 600 yearling calves.
•Seasonally cared for 150 first calf heifers and giving them help through the birthing process. Monitoring them every 4 hours in the day and every 2 hours at night.
•Feeding and keeping mineral out on a 3-day per week schedule.
•Keeping a close inventory and records on every pound of feed fed to each cow.
•Keeping service records and services upcto date on all vehicles and equipment at my camp. (Pickups, tractors, trailers, dirt equipment.)
•Keeping a close eye on waters, water storage, and underground cross-country lines and making any repairs necessary.
•Monitoring the health and wellness of my cow herd and horse herd. Giving care and minor veterinarian care when needed. Also being able to make the decision to call a proper veterinarian when past my knowledge level and skill set.
