Summary
I am a skilled machinist, specializing in 5th Axis milling and turning. I have extensive knowledge and experience with CAD software and often utilize my skills to assist in prototyping for customers and in house work. I have experience machining many difficult to machine materials, such as titanium, molybdenum, stainless steel, and G10, as well as experience machining aluminum, mild steel and varies plastics. The company that I am currently employed at specializes in optics and photonics housings for companies such as Milltech, AscentVision, Quantel/Lumibird, Teledyn/Flir, as well as aerospace components, car parts, and medical research parts. I am proficient programming 3 and 5 axis vertical milling machines as well as 3 and 5 axis turning centers by hand using G-Code as well as utilizing GibbsCam and Fusion360. I am also currently in charge of Job scheduling within the shop, managing the workflow of other machinists as well as our finishing department, inventory department and shipping and receiving.
I also have several years of experience welding with TIG, MIG, stick and oxy-acetelyne, however I am not ceritified.
