Dedicated heavy equipment operator with strong reliability and problem-solving abilities. Committed to safety and efficient operations within demanding environments.
Graduating early in the fall of 2013 from high school and applying as a Laborer at Hulcher services I was introduced into the Rail Road very early on. At Hulcher's I worked as a laborer doing many different task including load adjustments, De Railments, Flood work, Track Re alignments and instillations, and more. Worked around heavy machinery and locomotives. This job required the highest concern for safety and keeping your head on a swivel. After a years time of being a laborer and obtaining my CDL at 18 i left Hulcher services and drove a semi local hauling grain. I applied for a Carmen position at BNSF in Galesburg,IL. In the spring of 2015 I was interviewed and hired on as a carmen. For three years I was introduced to a new level of safety standards and concern for well being at the highest level. During that time i spent all the class room time needed to become a journeyman, Air brakes, intermodel, general knowledge, Mig and Stick welding certifications, Crane certifications and other various schooling all while practicing safety at the highest level. I was a carded carmen within a year. In spring of 2018 I resigned from being a carmen to come back to the family business in Trucking & asphalt. My current position is very strenuous and demanding. It requires quick thinking and keeping your head on a swivel. I operate heavy equipment from Semis to Excavators, and do many mechanical tasks on equipment, semis, and more. Just like my previous time at BNSF I keep safety held at a high level.
