Work History

Copywriter & Digital Advertising Consultant

Freelance
04.2024 - Current
  • Wrote and developed a 2,500 word narrative history of Sorel Boots' 62 years in business to be used in investor material and in promotions. The project took nearly 60 hours, requiring painstaking archival research and organization. Reported directly to the CMO.
  • Interviewed 5 selfless teens around Orange County, CA as part of a 2,500 word feature I wrote for Tableau Magazine, a local publication. Coordinated meetings with multiple stakeholders and turned in project three days before the deadline.
  • Created a digital marketing campaign for Original Watermen, a lifeguard-supply company, which drove more than $30k in revenue representing a 4x return-on-ad-spend.
  • Acting as a marketing advisor for Ptera Fitness, a fitness apparel brand.

Growth Marketing Analyst

Ampush
06.2022 - 07.2023
  • Through hypothesis-driven creative development and rigorous data analysis, my media and creative strategies were able to return greater profits than the partner’s internal team, resulting in 20% partner revenue growth month-over-month.
  • Using a novel copywriting approach, developed and executed on a strategy that absolutely sold out six hard-to-sell collections, driving $400k in revenue at greater profits than usual bestsellers.
  • Frequently wrote and published blogposts on Ampush’s proprietary content site to sell high-consideration products, often driving sales 20-30% more efficiently than traditional direct-to-consumer marketing for those partners.

Interim Chief Brand Officer

Easy Eats Delivery
05.2021 - 08.2021
  • Summer project to help the brand begin the new semester.
  • Lead rebranding and brand voice development; focused on asking and answering instrumental philosophical questions about Easy Eats’ brand image. These questions had never been asked before, and were instrumental in the rebranding process.
  • Coordinated team of freelance UX/UI designers in developing a new look for the app.
  • Worked closely with Christian to finalize a brand sheet that accurately reflected the tone and attitude we wanted Easy Eats to project.

Co-Founder

No Name Arts
05.2020 - 02.2021
  • We founded No Name Arts to solve a frustrating problem in the creator economy: uninteresting, unwearable merch design. Our ethos was to bring art and fashion into conversations with creators across all platforms.
  • My role was to source creator partners we could build brands with. Without any connections in the creator economy, I had to forge new business relationships and act as the “hunter” in our organization.
  • In only 30 days, we went from first contact to $12,000 in revenue for our first client. Approved designs and developed brand boards for each potential client as well.
