I held a 42% ownership stake in Virtual Reality Media, JSCo., a company specializing in the development and production of flight simulators, primarily for military applications. Following my relocation to the USA, I made the decision to divest my shares. I acquired my ownership following the passing of my first husband, and together, we have served as company owners since 2000.

Throughout our tenure, both as directors and active contributors to business and marketing strategies for VRM, JSCo., as well as its sister companies, we achieved significant recognition. The company garnered numerous accolades globally and domestically, earning a position among the 13 best small companies in Europe. Notably, in Slovakia, we were honored with the prestigious Diamonds of Slovak Business award on two occasions. Our achievements were also acknowledged in Forbes, featuring the company in three separate articles since 2015

Initiated the establishment of a new branch for Virtual Reality Media and ASE, Inc. in Switzerland, overseeing a spectrum of critical responsibilities:

• Facilitated communication with the Ministry of Defense, law firms, and local accounting entities.
• Led the recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees.
• Identified and secured an optimal building for the company, managing all coordination related to company equipment.
• Addressed the unique challenge of obtaining work and living permits for a predominantly foreign workforce.
• Collaborated closely with organizational leadership and the board of directors to shape operational strategy.

The inception of Synerco stemmed from a successful history of collaboration with ASE, Inc. in Tampa. Having previously worked together on contracts for the U.S. government, the decision was made to establish a jointly owned venture while maintaining the independence of both VRM and ASE. As the appointed managing director, I relocated to Switzerland and undertook all necessary tasks to launch and operationalize the company in the region.

Collaborated closely with organizational leadership and the board of directors to shape operational strategy and played a pivotal role in the inception of the company from its earliest stages. Key responsibilities included:

• Oversaw the startup of the company, taking charge of the entire process.
• Managed the recruitment of all new employees.
• Secured permits for the trade in military material and obtained clearance for handling top-secret NATO materials.
• Led branch management, engaging in client communication and fostering relationships with the Ministry of Defense.
• Undertook international business trips to various countries.
• Mentored and prepared employees for assignments in high-risk regions, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Angola, and Algeria, where our simulators were deployed.
• Coordinated special permits and insurance arrangements for operations in hazardous locations.
• Formulated organizational goals and objectives to steer company focus and achieve mission fulfillment.
• Implemented cost control measures to meet budget restrictions and enhance overall profitability.

Led the comprehensive training of property managers and staff in legal requirements, operating procedures, and best practices within the military industry. Managed the entire spectrum of human resources and operational functions, including:

• Conducted performance reviews, spearheaded employee selection, training, and termination processes to cultivate effective teams.
• Mentored property managers and provided regular status reports to senior leadership.
• Developed, implemented, and refined operational policies and procedures.
• Oversaw the selection and management of interviews with prospective job applicants.
• Formulated annual plans for company assets and human resources, covering new positions, employee training, salary changes, and role modifications.
• Orchestrated emergency personnel plans during financial crises.
• Presented the current HR situation and company asset status to the board of directors during company updates.
• Managed communication with diplomats, ambassadors, and military attaches.
• Oversaw and controlled all communication with media outlets.
• Played a pivotal role in a significant contract with the US government to develop eight systems for Iraq, including communication coordination between the US Embassy in Bratislava, the Embassy of Iraq in Vienna, and PEO Stri in the USA. Led meetings involving these parties in Slovakia, including a major final event where coordination with each embassy, the US government, local authorities, and media was paramount

As an HR manager and later as an HR director, I adeptly managed employee disputes through the application of conflict resolution techniques. My multifaceted responsibilities included:

• Carefully selecting new candidates for employment and conducting interviews with job seekers.
• Playing a key role in preparing documents for the annual financial plan.
• Offering advice to decision-makers on intricate and confidential matters, ranging from performance management to employee relations issues.
• Providing guidance to leaders and employees on company policies, programs, benefits, and salary administration.
• Boosting employee motivation through the orchestration of special events, incentive programs, and constructive feedback.
• Spearheading education and development initiatives for employees.
• Holding a concurrent position as an Event Manager, where I successfully organized over 30 events for the company during my tenure at VRM.

As part of my role, I undertook various responsibilities, including:

• Preparation of documents for reports and the annual plan, providing crucial support to the department director.
• Planning and organizing exhibitions both domestically and internationally, spanning military exhibitions in the USA, flight simulations in locations such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bangkok, Hungary, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and London.
• Engaging in effective communication with foreign embassies, particularly with ambassadors and military attaches.
• Conducting international business trips to meet customers and visit military bases in various countries, including Algeria, the Emirates, Portugal, the USA, Italy, Thailand, Russia, the UK, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, and more.
• Delivering prompt and courteous support to customers both in-person and over the telephone.
• Maintaining composure and professionalism in high-stress, dynamic environments to enhance service to customers and support staff.
