
Hello! I'm currently seeking employment in Seattle, West Seattle, Tukwila and surrounding areas and I look forward to speaking with you more! To get started I'll share a few things about myself. I am the type of person who thrives in social settings and connecting with people. I've always been told that I am very good at making others feel comfortable and welcome around me and helping others has always been a passion of mine. As an empath I tend to approach situations with a lot of patience and optimism. Most people who know me would agree that I am not quick to anger. When it comes to my personal life I consider myself to be pretty crafty, I love picking up new artistic projects, journaling, photography, drawing, and creating in general! I also love spending time outdoors and exploring the PNW or anywhere that has access to a beach! One of my best traits is my innovative thinking. I tend to think outside of the box when it comes to a lot of things in life. Even as a child I would come up with random ‘inventions’ or ‘businesses’, and now in my adult life I still do the same thing! I truly value every personal connection that I make and I look forward to many more new opportunities in the customer service world
Taking phone reservations for all Salty's locations, answering questions about the menus, upcoming buffets or events, current specials, lost and found items, questions about catering and coordinating with the front desk and floor managers occasionally for large parties or solving problems.
Checking in guests (up to 500 a night), pre planning and assigning all tables, managing up to 4 front desk runners, advertising merchandise, processing to-go orders, seating guests in a timely manner and being a welcoming presence on their way in and out, training and mentoring many junior staff members.
Executing tasks from managers and front desk leads, sparking friendly conversation with guests, setting up tables with decorations, keeping menus and front desk area tidy, helping out with running food and water, giving menu recommendations, communicating with servers about tables, updating the restaurant in the digital system, being attentive and eager to show guests to their tables.
Completed daily tasks accurately and on-time to support shop needs. Maintained a clean and organized shop floor, optimizing space for ease of customer navigation. Swept and mopped floor, wiped windows and fixtures after closing to support cleanliness and maintain organized store. Installed van/RV parts (insulation, soundproofing, moving heavy objects such as furniture). Helped with trade shows, talking to customers and advertising the product.
Played games, worked on puzzles, and read books to young children. Communicated positively with children and guardians. Organized and cleaned home after activities by picking up toys and straightening up play room. Maintained a clean and organized environment to ensure the well-being of children under care. Helped with homework and prepared the children for bed.
Prepared food and water following instructions from pet owners. Gave animals proper attention to promote secure environment in owner's absence. Exercised animals regularly with walks and rigorous play activities. Maintained a clean and safe environment for pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
