Accomplishments

    Managed and implemented Commercial Tax Advisor and Salesforce tools to mitigate commercial tax risks and enhance cost and transfer pricing margins for each global business line of the company. Implemented SOPs for ITO and OTR phases overseeing $18.1 billion of revenue within the Power Segment of the business. Provided comprehensive tax training to the entire Gas Power segments, including Steam, Controls, and new Units, for the commercial teams responsible for securing more than $44.1 billion in orders. Coordinated and executed a legal entity reduction project globally for 150 entities, resulting in significant cost savings. Served as the global tax function for the renamed entity project, overseeing tax governance and compliance for more than 277 legal entities. Successfully coordinated and executed over $1 billion in cash repatriation utilizing Double Tax Treaties to avoid double taxation. Responsible for leading the tax integration for the merger with Baker Hughes. Reported to CFO and managed tax staff of 6, including the team in LATAM. I had the tax function ownership for and supervised the M&A of Wellstream do Brasil into GE Oil and Gas do Brasil, resulting in a tax goodwill benefit of $400 million. I lead and executed. Directed the M&A consolidation of GE Oil & Gas entities, achieving significant goodwill amortization efficiencies. Designed and implemented bonded area duty drawback and dry port strategies that generated over $100 million in tax savings.
