  • Actively monitored more than 50 swimmers per shift to enforce rules and to ensure the safety of guests in and around the pool area
  • Engaged with the lifeguard team as a returning, third-year lifeguard by supporting/training new guards to learn their responsibilities and lifeguarding various community events such as birthday parties, competitions, water aerobics, teen movie nights, and graduation events.
  • Maintained an organized and professional office environment by receiving phone calls, helping members check in, organizing file documents, and helping guests with questions and financial transactions.
  • Administered basic first aid to guests, documented their injuries, and followed up with lifeguard managers and, if applicable, their parents.

Innovation Diploma

May 2024

  • Developed a Forest Tracking Device designed to detect fallen trees, hazardous materials, wildlife activity, or other issues along hiking trails. The device sends real-time alerts to Forest Rangers, allowing them to quickly respond and resolve problems on-site. This project contributed to earning a second graduating diploma, which was awarded in May 2025.
