I'm an art historian and curator specializing in 18th- and 19th-century art, design, material culture, and women's history. I'm dedicated to building accessible, inclusive collections that highlight diversity and broaden public access to cultural heritage through research, collaboration, and audience-focused museum experiences.
As Assistant Curator, I manage the design and installation of exhibitions across multiple historic sites. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to preserve and interpret historic properties through inclusive curation, research, and the use of project management software to meet aggressive timelines. Beyond exhibition planning, I oversee the collections and support mission-fulfilling programs and events.
Delivered immersive historical interpretation and programming for guests across multiple Lewes Historical Society sites. As a costumed interpreter, I created a positive visitor experience by providing information, tours, and ensuring the preservation of artifacts. Additionally, I oversaw front-of-house operations, including admissions, gift shop transactions, and visitor safety.
Conducted primary source research to develop exhibition narratives. I played a key role in reimagining the interpretation of the Burton-Ingram House, integrating research-based findings into the spatial and historical context of the campus. Gained proficiency in collections management using PastPerfect to document artifacts.
As a Student Worker, I assisted in front-of-house transactions and back-of-house culinary preparation in a high-volume academic dining environment. I ensured food safety and quality by monitoring temperatures and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. I collaborated with the culinary team to deliver a positive guest experience.
Managed the flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor to ensure product availability.
