CA High Speed Rail EER Analysis and LCFS Design Pathway 2020-21

Ecosystem modeler currently focused on life cycle assessment of low carbon fuels, products, and carbon sequestration projects in respective policy contexts. 20 years of project management experience in watershed ecosystem monitoring, assessment and management. Thrive when working with dynamic teams to support innovative and sustainable practices that reduce GHG emissions, sequester carbon, and upcycle waste.
Low Carbon Fuel Program Management:
· Instrumental in successful validation of 6 pathway applications for biomethane, ethanol and biodiesel producers
· Prepared 3 design-based pathway applications for high speed rail and biomass-based fuels and presented to CA Air Resources Board
· Supported 18 annual pathway LCFS verifications
· Conducted 8 LCFS trainings
· Prepared LCA-based reports supporting policy positions for the CA and WA LCFS and the RFS
· Submitted petitions and comment letters to CA LCFS
Non-Fuel Life Cycle Assessment Management:
· Evaluated renewable energy source impacts on Plant GHG emissions
· Demonstrated LCFS credit potential for renewable agriculture-based soil carbon sequestration
· Prepared biomass and fermentation product LCAs
· Developed asphalt and geopolymer concrete EPDs
